Early Access Lap Swimming

Forrester Woods is excited to once again offer early access lap swimming. If you are interested, please follow the instructions below.

Registration Procedure

1. Download a copy of this year's waiver (attached below).
2. Carefully read, understand, initial each page, and sign the waiver.
3. Send your waiver to Chris Davis either electronically ([email protected]) or via mail (311 Cherry Hill Rd).
4. You will be contacted when your access has been granted.
5. Please note that a new registration and signed waiver is required each year.

General Information

• Early access will be granted between 6:30 AM and 8:00 AM. Please exit the pool area promptly so that the swim team can begin practice on time.
• Lifeguards will not be on duty. Swim at your own risk.
• Lane ropes may or may not be in the pool. You may not put in the lane ropes if they are not already in the pool, and you may not remove lane ropes if they are already in the pool.
• You must enter the pool area using the gate by the pump room (not the main gate by the bathrooms).
• Bathrooms will not be available during early hours lap swimming.
• No one under the age of 18 may utilize early hours lap swimming.
• No guests or family members that have not also signed a waiver may utilize early hours lap swimming. However, you may bring a safety "spectator" if you would like. This spectator must be 16 years old or older and may not swim. It is expected that once you are finished swimming laps that both of you leave the pool area promptly.
• Early hours lap swimming is only for resident and non-resident members of Forrester Woods Recreation Center.
• Early hours lap swimming is strictly limited to lap swimming. The deep end and diving boards are off limits, and sunbathing and lounging is not allowed.
• Please clear the pool at the designated times so that the pool can be prepped for swim team practice or pool opening.
• Your access will be revoked if you violate the terms of the agreement.
• Swimming is not allowed if it is dark outside. Therefore, the opening time of 6:30 AM may be adjusted depending on sun rise. You will be notified if the times change.
